Lots of bags were sold at the 2nd grade back to school night. As mentioned in the post, please leave comments and let us know how you like the bags and what you've been using them for. I love these ideas! For recycling, you could also do an experiment to figure out how much classroom waste could be recycled over the course of the week by separating it and weighing it. Then figure out how much that would equal each month and for a whole school year. How many trees could be saved each year by recycling classroom waste?

The recycling program has been a great addition. Our classroom trash has been cut in half. I encourage my students to recycle whenever possible.

Our grade level has recently starting posting our Kindergarten calendars online and this will help to reduce copying. I'm sure we will continue to send electronic notices and updates.
